  Devon knelt on a box that had mysteriously appeared on the floor in front of the chair.

  "You ready baby, we are gonna stuff you with cock until you scream for release." Devon growled at her, and she nodded back.

They gave her a moment to adjust to the feeling and then Sid grabbed her waist, and Devon held the arms of the chair, and they began to dance.   Sid said from behind her.

  "We should demand our money back." Devon laughed and rolled onto the floor bringing Casey with him in his protected arms.

  "Gonna have to talk to Shea about that, in the book it didn’t go like that," Casey said.

  Devon rolled his eyes and said, "You can't believe everything you read dear."

  Chapter 13

  Trace smiled and looked around the room. Tonight they were going to finally complete their claim on Bama. They had waited long enough, and she had finally agreed that they needed to do it before they could officially take their place on the Council. Now was the time. They didn’t want to lose any more time getting things set up. Although Trace was the Chosen, he wasn’t fully mated and so couldn’t take his spot. Bama had not known that when she had insisted that they wait. And knowing her wishes, they wouldn’t let her change her mind when she found out. Their mate deserved to be courted the way she had dreamed she would be growing up.

  Now it was clear that they had to do something. Trace couldn’t even contact everyone officially until they did. So after a long discussion, and also a lot of petting, they finally decided this was the time. They were going to go to the meeting to introduce Shea, and then, when they were done, they would have a romantic dinner in the room downstairs they had arranged with the caretaker. Afterward, they would go up to their new suite.

  It was going to be their suite now. Bama had explained that Cami had turned over the best suite in the hotel to them now that she and her mates had moved to their new home. She had also explained that she with some help from the others had prepared the room with furniture that was going to be moved into their new house. They would get to claim the woman who was meant to be theirs on the bed she had chosen for their nest.

  Shane was out getting flowers; he had insisted on going to his parents and clipping the wonderful flowers his mother had grown. It was apparently a tradition, and their woman was all about tradition.

  Shane had told them both when his father had courted his mother, that he had cut flowers from the very garden that Shane is at right now. Bama had loved the story and sighed big when he had finished. The men had shared a look and knew they would do the same.

  Trace looked around the room again and smiled. He approved his mate’s taste; he liked the new sheets and comforter in the bright colors she liked. The red and teal reminded him of the vibrant colors from South America. He was also happy with the chair; he had gotten a chair that they would take with them to their new home. He hoped she liked it.

  It was a chaise that she could work on when she wanted to. Her computer would sit next to her on the table they had added also. When the office was situated at their new house, she would be able to spread out. Of course, the chaise also gave him some other ideas as well. His favorite item in the room was the bed. When he saw the bed, his beautiful mate had picked out; he knew they were all a perfect match.

  She was helping him get organized so they could have the Elders Advisory Board have meetings with them. Trace called them that for two reasons, the first was because he’d been adding in elders from other shifter communities and the second is because he wanted the members of the Old Council that joined to really feel that this was a new beginning for them. Trace was looking forward to getting the help of the elders in the magical community too. Bama had told him often over the last few weeks what a great mediator he was.

  Several of the older members of the Pack already came to him with concerns about the old ways being lost. Shane and he were doing research, sometimes asking Romy or Larkin for help looking into some of the things that had been brought to his attention.

  One of the older members talked about the claiming ceremonies; he hadn’t known that in the past they had, what was akin to a marriage rite when they found their mates.

  Bama's idea about having a ceremony was very popular with the older people.

  Shane entered the room and held a huge bouquet of flowers. The colors very vibrant and Bama was going to love them.

  "Hey, can you get me some vases?" Shane grinned.

  "Vases, we will need more than a few by the looks of it," Trace drawled.

  "I know. I got a little carried away. I kept seeing things that looked like flowers she would like,” Shane said. "So, do we have the dinner ready?"

  "Of course, I talked to the caretaker. We are having Prime Rib, stuffed potatoes, and then some vegetables. For dessert, we are having tiramisu. We have a wonderful bottle of wine chilling, and as soon as the meeting with the others is done, we will be all set,"

  Trace said and helped put the flowers around the room.

  When they were done, the room looked a little like a jungle, but they both knew that Bama would love it. "Meeting first."

  "Right, are we ready?” Shane said rubbing his hands together.

  "I have our report. Let's go," Trace said and then led the way out of the room.

  As they walked down the hallway, Shane turned to Trace, “That bed is really giving me ideas.”

  “Oh yeah, me too,” said Trace.

  The meeting was ready to start when Trace and Shane got into the Council meeting.

  They looked around and found Bama with Jordan and Lacy in the corner. They looked on as her face lit up while talking to the girls, when they drew closer; she was talking to them about the wedding. Trace smiled indulgently and wrapped his arm around her waist.

  "So we’ll all carry wild flowers and walk down our own aisles to our mates, where they will be waiting in the center with the leader of the cats, Ryan. He agreed to perform the shifter part of the ceremony, and Ariel insisted on being allowed to help us all get dressed. She will be Matron of Honor to all of us. She deserves it for putting up with so much. I was really upset that she wasn't at the book signing, but Ryan and her, were getting their offices moved down here. Cami said she was disappointed when she heard what she missed." Bama said and laughed.

  "I think I’m still a little dehydrated.” Jordan grumbled and looked around the room. "I think everyone is almost here. I can't wait to see Shea and her mates. No one has heard from them since we arrived back to Milliken late Friday. I would bet she had a hangover to beat all hangovers though. According to Cloe, she was a wild woman in the delivery room. I keep trying to remember, but things are a little hazy. My mates refuse to explain to me why everyone keeps singing 'Pop goes the Weasel' to me."

  Lacy giggled and said, "Cause that was what you said each
time one of the babies came out. Cloe was screaming, and you kept singing that song. The doctor who delivered the twins won't speak to any of us since we refused to leave the room, and our mates refused to come in and get us. Blaine said it would have been too traumatic to see Cloe, or he would have come in."

  Trace looked at them soberly and said, "I should have had a camera, but Blaine was right, the onetime Quinn tried to go in the room Cloe threatened to kill him, and he took it seriously."

  Bama laughed and looked at her mates and put her hand on their cheeks. 'My mates brought me a lovely breakfast and nursed me back to health yesterday."

  Lacy snorted and said. "My mates gave me a lecture about doing too much while I was pregnant and then swore they were not letting me out of their sight again."

  "That's right mate, you will be within arm's length for the next few months.” Shawn said and wrapped his arms around her from behind.

  While Dalton stood with his hand on his hip and proclaimed loudly. "And the Alphas had better get Cami under control or Lacy is not allowed to go and play again."

  The rest of the room laughed, and Cami stood up and growled, "Listen here, Fairy boy, if we want to go out we will."

  Quinn held up his hand and said. “On that note shall we begin? Cloe, Darien, and Teagan are resting at home comfortably and obviously won't be here."

  Right when he finished the door opened up and Shea, Griff, and Lev were being escorted inside by Tripp. The trio stood at the door hesitantly and looked around the room. Griff was the first one to speak and stepped forward.

  "Hey, Shea is having reservations about this whole thing. We kinda need to deal with what's going on with her."

  Quin frowned and motioned for them to come into the room as everyone took their seats. There were only six chairs left and Lev guided Shea to the seats without note books in front of them. Shea seemed to hesitate before nodding slowly and sitting down in the chair that would place her in the middle of the two men. She assumed the missing people would be Cloe, who gave birth and her mates.

  It was a long morning, trying to sort out this mess with Shea. She had insisted that she had known nothing about being one of the Chosen. When they attempted to call her parents, they had been unable to reach them. Shea had become worried when she had called her sister and was told that no one had spoken to them in the last few days. Her sister also lived in the United States while her parents still lived in Ireland.

  Being the only two children of the Fae couple they had been calling for hours trying to find someone in the small village they lived in that would be able to tell them where their parents were. So far, they did not have any good news.

  Shea had become agitated as the day had drawn on, and it had taken both Griff and Lev to calm her down. Apparently, her parents never went anywhere without contacting them and letting the sister know where they would be.

  "What's up?" Cami said briskly when everyone had seated themselves. Quinn frowned at her, and she shrugged. She wanted to get to the point. Jo and she had talked, and they wanted to pick the authors mind about her books, and also find out where she got her material.

  Shea looked around the table uncomfortably and then said. "I’m sorry; I know that you all told me that I was one of the Chosen, and yes, I’ve heard about you. But my parents have never told me anything of the sort, and so far I’ve been unable to actually contact them and talk to them."

  "What do you mean?" Quin said quickly. He felt the tingle of something bad and wondered if Roarke was going to be somehow involved.

  "I called them and my sister. She has no idea why they’re not answering their phone, and she hasn’t heard from them in the last few days. The last time I talked to them, they never said anything about leaving and going on vacation or anything." Shea said quietly.

  Dalton spoke from across the table, "Shea, I’m Dalton Thornegood, do you now of my family?"

  "Yes, they are Sidhe, which is akin to the Fae but still a little different. You have different abilities than what I have." Shea said and blushed.

  Dalton looked at her closely and then said, "Yes, we can move through time and space as well as find things. That is what we are good at. Whereas you, if I remember correctly are an Irish Fae, that would make you have the ability to influence people, and also you have the traditional wings and can shift, where we cannot."

  Shea looked around the room as the people stared at her intently. She was told never to reveal herself to anyone; no one knew her true nature but her family and the Fae in her clan. She would never tell anyone who they were it was part of their oath they took when they became adults and got their wings.

  She cleared her throat and then said. "Well, there is a little more to it, but those are basically the facts."

  Dalton looked at Quin and Sid, "With your permission Alpha, I would like to go and see if I can find her parents?"

  Shea sucked in a breath and looked at Quin expectantly. She was at her wits end about what to do; this would make things a lot easier. She knew that the Sidhe would be able to pop where they needed to be and then find where the people they were searching for had gone. She wanted to yell at the Alpha to let him go, but she held back, knowing she would not further her cause if she became angry.

  Too much had happened over the last few days. While lying in bed yesterday recovering from her night of fun with the women at the table, she had been on the phone and trying to tell the two men who sat next to her that she was not one of the Chosen. When it came to their mating claim, though she had not denied it, she had just avoided it.

  She knew they were both her mates, but she refused to accept their claim until she found her parents and discovered exactly what was going on. When she spoke to her sister just before the meeting, they had agreed that if they were unable to get a hold of anyone in the clan today that had seen their parents they were going to return to Ireland and search.

  "I think that would be a wise idea, Dalton take Devon and Jacob with you for backup. I don't want there to be any surprises,” Quin said, and Shea jumped up.

  "I am going to, my parents and the members of the clan won't speak to anyone outside of the group,” Shea said and straightened her shirt.

  Her mates stood up to and flanked her, and Lev said. "We will be coming too."

  Shea looked at them with an annoyed look and then turned back to Dalton. "Do as you please, Dalton how soon can we go?"

  Dalton looked at the Alpha, who was looking around the room. A lot of the Council members looked like they were ready to go with her as well. It seemed every time one of the Chosen were out in the open that something happened. They could not afford to have anything happen to Shea. They all needed answers.

  "Dalton, Can you take a few more?" Quin asked and grinned when he nodded. "So, let's do this, Cami, Jaden, and I, plus, Devon, Sid, Casey, Jo and Tey will all accompany you.

  Lagon, will you please protect the kids while we’re all gone?" he asked, and the large man nodded his head in agreement. "Also, can the kids actually stay with you in your home?” Again, the dragon nodded. Trinity grinned, and rubbed her hands together; she loved it when the children came to the house.

  Shea stepped back and little feeling overwhelmed, why would the Alpha want all of these people to come with her? It didn’t make much sense; she had not even figured out if she what they thought she was. Shea didn’t think her parents would have ever lied to her about this, but after talking to Lev and Griff, she understood why they had if it were true. All the Chosen was tested to the limits during this past year, with most of them almost being killed at one time or another.

  Shea wondered if it was worth it. She lived a nice quiet life as an author and liked it that way. A lot of people thought she lived a glamorous life and did every single thing that she wrote about. But she had not; though with the two men surrounding her, she thought, it was possible. She wondered what they would think of some of the things she wrote.

  Snapping back into the present conversation, she heard Gri
ff and Lev talk about where exactly they were headed.

  "Wait, why are all of you going?" she said in a snarky tone. Shea closed her eyes and took a deep breath. This had been all too much for her; she felt like she was losing it a little. Thank the Gods she had a few weeks before she was supposed to have another book signing.

  Quin raised an eyebrow, and her and Cami put her hand on his arm to stop him from replying right away. "Shea, is there some reason that you don't want us to come with you?" the Alpha female asked quietly.

  Shea opened her eyes, looked at the female, and said, “Not especially, I’m just trying to figure out why you feel the need to come with me."

  Cami smiled and stood up and walked toward her, and Lev and Griff stepped beside her once again as if to protect her from the Alpha wolf. Cami smirked and then waved her hands at the men as if to tell them to back off.

  "I understand this is all strange and new. But we’ve never made a mistake when it came to the Chosen. I swear; Kira knows what she’s talking about, when we found her, she was able to help us identify the other Chosen as well as assure us that we were, in fact, part of the Council. It is hard to understand why all of this happened, and seriously; it would take days and a few more Margaritas than we had the other night to tell you the whole story. We will tell you though, because you will have to know what you are getting into. For now though, I can see your mind is not on this or us. It’s on your family. I think we can all understand that you need to find where your parents are and get some answers before you talk to us." Cami said softly.

  Shea felt the tears gather in her eyes, why was she being so nice to her when she had been such a bitch, I mean if I was the Alpha of one of the most important Packs in the world, I think I would be a bitch. Shea thought and then smiled. No she wouldn't, she didn’t have it in her. Yeah she could be snarky and rude at times, but that was because her agent had told her a few years ago she was too much of a pushover for her fans. She thought and looked around the room. All the people who were on the Council smiled at her encouragingly and she felt like crap for the way she had talked to the Alpha.
